Warranty Information for Device Repairs

All information on this page dictates our warranty program unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of your repair.
We have a simple common-sense approach for our warranty program: If it’s our fault, we’ll fix it. If it’s your fault, we’ll fix it at your expense!
*** Damages Void Warranties ***
When you have a device repaired at Stuttgart Phone & Computer, if you break it there is no coverage! We are not an insurance company. Damages are insurance issues, not warranty issues. So, what exactly is covered?
- Touch Issues
- Manufacturer Defects
- Bad Labor/Poor Install
- Certain LCD issues
By allowing us to repair your device, you authorize us to install warranty stickers/information inside your device for identification toward any future claims that need to be made. You may receive a warranty card with additional information when you pick up your device. Please keep up with this card. This card will provide identifying information such as device, part, warranty dates, etc. for yours and our quick reference. If any warranty stickers inside the device are torn or if your device is opened by another person/company your warranty through us will automatically become null and void.
* Some warranty claims may need to be sent to the manufacturer for claim confirmation, however this is unlikely and reserved for special situations.
We offer warranties from 30 days up to a limited lifetime warranty for certain parts. Consumable parts such as batteries and charging ports are warrantied for up to one year. We offer a wide variety of parts from aftermarket (lower quality, cheaper to purchase) to premium OEM parts (higher quality, can be costly) to meet your needs whether you’re looking for the best replacement parts or just something to get you by. Why put cheap parts in a $1,000 phone?
What is not covered?
- Customer Damages & Neglect
- Scratches/Scuffs
- Customer LCD Damages (lines, black spots, fuzziness, bleeding, etc)
- Water/Liquid Damage
- Other various issues
We have been repairing cell phones for over 10 years. We will know if you have damaged your phone. We will be happy to repair your damaged phone, but we will not be able to warranty claim any device that is customer damaged. Sorry for any inconvenience.
These same rules apply to other devices unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of repair.
Computer Virus/Malware Removal
Due to the nature of common viruses imposed on computers and a customer’s inability to sometimes identify what is legit and what is bad software, we are unable to warranty virus/malware removal. Once we remove the bad software and return your computer to useable condition, it is your responsibility to purchase and maintain anti-virus software or Internet Security software on your machine. We will be happy to install this software for you upon request. Please check our store for options. We carry various anti-virus software brands for purchase.
